This 1977 Gibson Howard Roberts is very clean for a 40 plus year old guitar, featuring Hollow Maple body with a Florentine cutaway, Rosewood fretboard, Chrome trapeze tailpiece with Howard Roberts plaque, Floating ebony bridge, Floating neck humbucker, Master volume & dual tone controls with black speed knobs, 5-ply bound tortoise pickguard, Maple neck with cream binding and black dots, 3-ply bound headstock with mother of pearl Gibson and floral inlay, mother of pearl block inlays, weighing 6.8 lbs., in a sunburst finish. This guitar comes with a hard shell case.
This guitar is in fair condition for its age but does show signs of play wear – minor nicks, dents & dings along with light surface scratches, finish damage, and some tarnish and patina on the hardware. See pictures around neck joint.
